These gates originally divided the foyer from the living area, creating an elegant architectural threshold within the home’s richly appointed Spanish Revival interior. Each gate features a beautifully crafted winged griffin at the crest—mythical guardians symbolizing vigilance, protection, and strength. The griffins face one another in a heraldic arrangement, their wings outstretched and bodies integrated into a sweeping composition of scrolls and curved iron lines.
